PBM Safety is a proud VMA Allied Member that has been servicing the Event and Entertainment Industry since 2010. We maintain our sponsorship of the VMA Congress as support to the association and its members. We have always provided qualified and compliant documents and staff for Emergency, Risk and Safety related operations of Events.
We have maintained solid relationships with our meteorological provider (UBIMET) to deliver real time weather advice for operational critical environmental situations and our platform provider (PLY) to deliver real time safety compliance.
We just wanted to reflect on the past 12 months.
We have seen the resilience of venues and their staff in adjusting their operational plans to suit the “new normal” and we have also used our association with our clients to provide strategies and skill sets that were not seen as necessary a few years ago.
We are excited to have acquired WHO certification for our staff in infectious disease and critical/emergency response and developed risk based assessment and operational safety plans that align with International and State Health Department requirements and delivered events in most States of Australia.
We have also developed solid relationships with event regulators and authorised officers to provide solutions for events both indoors and outdoors.
We were lucky enough to pick up the MEA Specialist Services and Suppliers Award for the third time (2020) and receive membership in the “Hall of Fame”.
The recovery is well under way in most event areas, and we can provide insight at all levels from a small café with acoustic performers to arenas or stadia with international sports or concerts.
