The VMA is delighted to announce the results of the 2025 Board Election.
This year’s election called for nominations to fill three vacant Active Board positions, and we are pleased to welcome back returning Directors:
- Brett Caldwell AVM
- Heather Clarke AVM
In addition, we proudly introduce our newest Board Member who will commence her three-year term on the 12th of May.
- Megan O’Reilly – Chief Operating Officer, Melbourne Park
The Board would also like to take this opportunity to thank our retiring Director, Paul Sergeant, for his outstanding contribution, his level of commitment and his enthusiasm over the past 6 years as a Board member.
VMA President Phil King AVM said, “Once again, this year’s election attracted an exceptional level of interest, and I’d like to thank our members for their strong engagement throughout the nomination and voting process. On behalf of the Membership, I extend a warm welcome to our newly elected Director Megan, I also congratulate both Heather and Brett on their return as Directors, and lastly I would like to express our sincere gratitude to our retiring Director Paul Sergeant for his valuable contribution in his time on the board.
The depth of experience and passion within our industry is truly remarkable, and it’s encouraging to see such talented venue professionals stepping forward to help guide the Association as we move into the next phase of growth.”
