The VMA Board are very focused on providing opportunities for our Members to contribute back to the industry. We are currently seeking expressions of interest for volunteers to assist our Membership and Marketing Committee and become a VMA Ambassador.

Principle Activities of each appointed local Ambassador Committee is to:
- Be a local point of contact to assist with local co-ordination of VMA After 5 events through:
- Host Venue – where required assist the VMA office to identify, secure and liaise with host venues for the events.
- Key Note Speakers – where required help to identify and secure local key note speakers for the events.
- Industry Engagement – utilising their local industry networks promote registration and attendance at the events by both existing VMA members and other industry participants/ suppliers/ potential new VMA members.
- On site event assistance – attend each After 5 event to assist with setup, registration meet and greet, facilitating guest introductions, interaction and networking.
Eligibility: An Ambassador ideally has at least three (3) years of industry experience and a level of understanding of the VMA and our programs and services. Appointments are open to VMA members and employees of VMA Group Member venues and organisations. Appointments are made on an annual basis and under the guidance of a VMA Board member will participate in the VMA Membership & Marketing Committee process.
