We are thrilled to announce the opening of nominations for the 2024 VMA Venue Industry Awards.
The Venue Industry Awards are the premier Awards program for the venue management industry in the Asia-Pacific region. Since 2010 the Awards have been showcasing the best of the industry’s talent across a number of categories:
- Venue Professional of the Year
- Allied Professional of the Year
- Young Achiever of the Year for under 30s
The Awards are bestowed based on the achievements of the nominees over the last 12 months only – being the 2023 calendar year. You can nominate a peer, colleague or even yourself, with the online nomination process taking less than 30 seconds.

VMA Chief Executive Michael Brierley notes “Our industry is unique in that it attracts incredible people who are passionate about what they do. From memorable moments for their patrons to iconic events that have become a part of our nation’s culture and history, these are a rare breed that we love to celebrate. Each year it is vitally important that we take the time to recognise the amazing work that our venue managers and suppliers have done.
The Awards shine a spotlight on the amazing people that make up our industry to reflect on, and recognise their achievements. Whether it’s in the work they’ve done in their own venues, a contribution to supporting their local communities through their work, or supporting others in our industry; there are no boundaries around the contributions we want to showcase and recognise.” he concluded.

Nominations close 31st March, with finalists announced in April. The winners will be awarded at this year’s Gala Dinner to be held in Brisbane on 21 May, 2024 as part of Congress.
