Venue Professional of the Year Awards 2012 - Nominations Now Open!
The Venue Management Association is delighted to announce that nominations for the 2012 Venue Professional of the Year Awards are now open!
Each year, the Venue Professional of the Year Awards are offered to one (1) Active member and one (1) Allied member to recognise the contributions of our membership, amongst all venue types, who demonstrate excellence in venue and community service in conjunction with innovations in venue management and contributions to the professional development of their colleagues, students and staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our VMA Members to nominate a colleague to recognise the contributions that they have made to the Venue Management industry, during the 2011 calendar year.
Among the many reasons for you to consider nomination of a colleague is the recognition that can often go unnoticed for:
- Displaying an outstanding commitment to the Venue Management Industry through their support and contribution to the VMA,
- For their own personal and professional development and the inspiration that they have on others,
- For the support that they have shown to fellow colleagues, staff and students within the Industry and the larger Community.
The Venue Professional of the Year Awards will be presented on May 29, during the Gala Dinner at the 2012 Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress that is to be held at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, Queensland - commemorating the VMA’s 20th anniversary year of operation.
There are no limitations to the number of nominations that can be submitted and members are encouraged to participate for a chance to have their colleague’s contributions acknowledged with this prestigious award.
Nominations close on Friday 13th April 2012.
