THE ACHIEVEMENT AND RECOGNITION PROGRAM FOR THE INDUSTRY
Q: Who can obtain a Sirius achievement level?
Anyone who is an ACTIVE VMA member or a VMA ALLIED Member who has previously been a VMA ACTIVE Member for a minimum period of two years. By the very nature of your ACTIVE membership status, which is open to individuals employed at any level of operations in a public assembly venue, whether it is publicly or privately owned, you are at the starting point of reaching Bronze level and beyond.
Q: Is a Sirius achievement level a membership category?
No, a Sirius achievement level is not a membership category. It does not supersede or have higher status than your personal ACTIVE membership category. However, membership is a prerequisite to apply for any level of the Sirius program. Achieving a Sirius level is a measure of your career progress for professional venue managers.
