The Gabba is seeking applications from highly experienced, enthusiastic and motivated candidates to fill the Events Manager position. Partnering with the Gabba Management Team and working closely with all internal and external stakeholders, you will aim to enhance the venue experience.

The Gabba has hosted major sporting fixtures since 1895 and is home to the Brisbane Lions, Queensland Bulls and Brisbane Heat. With a 42,000 capacity, The Gabba is regarded as having one of the world’s best cricket wickets and offers great viewing for AFL. Exhibition Park in Canberra is the ACT’s largest multi-purpose events centre hosting in excess of 300 events each year including indoor, outdoor and corporate events.

Exhibition Park Corporation is seeking a suitably qualified Senior Venue Operations Manager to head the Venue Operations Team and will be responsible for the ongoing safe operational management of the venue, including buildings and grounds maintenance and event operations.

The position will play a key role in the EPC Executive Team and will act as the deputy to the General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing operational management of the venue including safety and security; budget; and buildings and grounds, while acting as the Venue Management Emergency Representative during major events.
