Event Coordinator - Suncorp Stadium

Suncorp Stadium is a world-class venue and is managed by AEG Odgen on behalf of Stadiums Queensland. It is home to the Brisbane Broncos, the Brisbane Roar and the Queensland Reds, and hosts a range of other major events including State of Origin, Rugby League and Rugby Union Test matches, Football Internationals and Concerts.

The Stadium has an opportunity for an Events Coordinator to become a member of the team.

We are seeking an individual who can work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a team and as an individual. Someone who has the flexibility to adapt to last-minute change, and an appreciation of the vibrancy of the event industry.

We want someone with exceptional presentation and communication skills and the ability to develop and sustain excellent relationships with fellow team member, hirers, and key stakeholders and possess excellent customer relationship skills when dealing with members of the general public. Experience in using a variety of software applications including Mircosoft and Adobe products is highly desirable.

Platform Specialist, Moshtix

To support its recent national growth, Australia’s most trusted independent ticketing company, The Ticket Group (or ‘TTG’), incorporating the iconic music brand moshtix, is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised executive to join its team in their Sydney CBD offices.

The role of Platform Specialist is a hybrid role that primarily involves being the internal “champion” of TTG’s licensed software platform (Audience View). This includes the building and configuration of events on the platform for event organisers, acting as point person for the software provider when it comes to upgrades and enhancements, and being the escalation point for internal staff regarding day to day platform support, trouble shooting, training, and process management. You will also have the opportunity to manage a small handful of clients directly, as well as provide event day training and client support at selected key events both locally and nationally.

About the Role
The Event Manager plans all Front of House (FOH) event arrangements and manages the delivery of both FOH and Back of House (BOH) arrangements for events at our self-managed venues. These arrangements include management of event staff, security, ticketing and emergency services.

The Centre is operated by AEG Ogden, Asia Pacific’s largest venue management company, which also manages Suncorp Stadium, Allphones Arena, Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Perth Arena, the Perth Theatre Trust venues and Convention Centres in Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin, Kuala Lumpur, Doha and Muscat (the latter two being under construction).
