The Lloyd Robson Oval Trustees Limited is pleased to invite expressions of interest for the provision of a venue management service for the new National Football Stadium in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
The National Football Stadium is an exciting new facility for the Nation’s capital and will continue to be known as the Home of Rugby League for PNG. The facility has been developed so as to comply with the requirements of the NRL Operations Manual in order that the National sport of rugby league will continue to develop.
In summary the new venue will accommodate up to 15,000 spectators with a view to increase this to 25,000 spectators in the future as the market demands. The venue has been design for the hosting of all sports events that can be played on a rectangular field. The venue will also serve to accommodate concert events and gatherings.
The Trustees will now commence the process to contract with the venue management provider who will take responsibility for the day to day operational management and promotion of events at the Stadium which forms part of a wider sports precinct.
