Life Like Touring is a production company that writes, produces and delivers live theatre shows to audiences worldwide for many of the biggest brands in family entertainment. Some of Life Like Touring's most well-known brands include: Dora the Explorer, Octonauts, Sesame Street, Scooby-Doo, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig, Chuggington and Octonauts.

Due to rapid growth and success in our business we are now looking to appoint a full time permanent Technical Production Manager who will be responsible for overseeing national and international touring programs.

The Perth Theatre Trust (the Trust) is a statutory authority established and constituted under the Perth Theatre Trust Act 1979 to oversee the management and operation of theatres vested or leased to the Trust by the State Government.

The Trust is responsible for the care, control, management, maintenance, operation and improvement of theatres under its control which currently includes the Albany Entertainment Centre, His Majesty’s Theatre, Subiaco Arts Centre, Perth Concert Hall, and State Theatre Centre of WA. It operates as a portfolio organisation in the Culture and Arts Portfolio.

This is a full-time, fixed-term vacancy until 31 December 2017, with a possibility of extension and/or permanency.

This position is located in Subiaco, Western Australia.

Venues NSW manages government owned sporting and entertainment venues in the Hunter, Western Sydney and The Illawarra. As part of the executive leadership team, this unique opportunity will provide you with considerable autonomy to lead organisational business operations and collaboratively drive operational reform across multiple venues.  You will provide expert advice in venue management, business development and commercial strategies. You will drive the delivery of high quality services and facilities and ensure consistency in customer service, policies and best practice. Promoting strategic business development for venues to maximise their use will provide you with the opportunity to deliver in a commercial and dynamic strategic environment.


Technical Operations Supervisor - Perth Arena

Perth Arena is Western Australia’s proud home of entertainment, sporting and cultural events. Sitting within the Northbridge City Link precinct, Perth Arena forms an integral part of the Perth CBD revitalization project. Since opening its doors in November 2012, Perth Arena has showcased over 177 events ranging from sport to live music events.

The Government of Western Australia has vested the ownership of Perth Arena in VenuesWest, who engaged AEG Ogden as the operator to manage the Venue. 

The Role
Reporting to the Technical Operations Coordinator, the Technical Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the setting up, operation and maintenance of all equipment associated with our clients and the Arena. This will include rigging, staging and seating systems operated within the Arena.

The new Perth Stadium and Sports Precinct heralds a new and exciting chapter in the transformation of Perth and will deliver an exceptional experience for fans.

The State, through VenuesWest will now commence the process to contract with the Operator which will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational management and promotion of events at the Stadium and Sports Precinct.

In particular, the Operator will:

  • provide a range of operational and promotional services;
  • work with stakeholders to secure content and manage events; and
  • perform all of its functions alongside the Design-Build-Finance and Maintain contractor, Westadium.

Prospective respondents will be required to demonstrate their understanding, capacity, capability and experience to successfully deliver the Operator Services.
