Reporting to the General Manager and leading a team of around 30 (via 3 direct reports), the Operations Manager will drive the delivery of the Vbase experience by leading, motivating and developing the Operations team, which has responsibility for: event logistics management, assets and facilities management and other company wide operational management.

The Perth Theatre Trust (the Trust) is a statutory authority established and constituted under the Perth Theatre Trust Act 1979 to oversee the management and operation of theatres vested or leased to the Trust by the State Government.  The Trust is responsible for the care, control, management, maintenance, operation and improvement of theatres under its control which currently includes the Albany Entertainment Centre, His Majesty’s Theatre, Subiaco Arts Centre, Perth Convert Hall, State and Theatre Centre of WA.

This is a full-time, fixed-term vacancy, commencing in February 2015 until 31 December 2017.  Interviews for this position will be held in January 2015.

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is one of the largest venue and event management organisations in Australia.  The Sydney Showground site is operated by the RAS with such iconic events as the Sydney Royal Easter Show (SRES), major music festivals and V8 Supercars along with another 400 events and exhibitions staged annually. Sydney Showground is also the home to the Greater Western Sydney Giants AFL team and will host the Sydney thunder for T20 cricket in January 2015.

year it is a facility owned by the community for the benefit of our community. Each year we
deliver over 150 event days right alongside our 1,100 functions and thousands of hours of
community sport and recreation indoors and out.

F&B Evangelist to help us establish, develop and deliver an award winning venue Food &

Building Services Engineer, MCG

The Melbourne Cricket Club manages the Melbourne Cricket Ground, one of Australia’s greatest assets.  The MCG is host to more than 60 major sports events annually, attracting at least three million patrons and visitors.

The Facilities department is responsible for the management, maintenance and efficient operation of the built environment at the MCG and other MCC-managed sites. Our duties include turf management, repairs and maintenance, security, cleaning and other technical services, ensuring that events, functions and daily business run smoothly.

Reporting to the Operations & Contracts Manager, your role will be responsible for the management and delivery of various building services disciplines from a service delivery and budgetary perspective.  You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising contractors as the planned, reactive and remedial maintenance activities are carried out at both the MCG and other grounds managed by the MCC.
