We are currently seeking the services of a committed professional to join our Major Venues and Facilities team.
As the Functions Catering Coordinator, your main responsibility is to coordinate the functions and catering services of the Logan Entertainment Centre (LEC), Limelight Bistro and Community Venues.
Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, you will ensure the successful coordination of function, event and catering priorities. You will supervise and set priorities for Functions & Catering Supervisors, Banquet Team Leaders, Head Chef, Chefs, Guest Service Attendants and agency staff.
The successful applicant will bring a minimum of five years experience within a similar role. You will have the ability to communicate and deal with people at all levels whilst remaining calm and performing well under pressure.
You will have high level financial management skills, especially in relation to control and coordination of profit forecasts associated with revenue generation, cost control and cost effective staff rostering.
