Building Services Coordinator
The Melbourne Cricket Club manages the Melbourne Cricket Ground, one of Australia’s greatest assets. The MCG is host to more than 60 major sports events annually, attracting at least three million patrons and visitors.
The Facilities department is responsible for the management, maintenance and efficient operation of the built environment at the MCG and other MCC-managed sites. Our duties include turf management, repairs and maintenance, security, cleaning and other technical services, ensuring that events, functions and daily business run smoothly.
Reporting to the facilities operations & contracts manager, your role will be responsible for the coordination of the day to day scheduled and remedial maintenance activities at grounds managed by the MCC for building service disciplines as nominated by the facilities operations & contracts manager from a service delivery and budgetary perspective. You will provide further support with the allocation of reactive and planned maintenance works, and provide support to other staff in the facilities department, as well as manage assets via the Archibus Asset Management System.
You will have experience in facilities management and maintenance, with supervision of projects of various building services disciplines. A building related trade qualification or working towards completing such qualification is desirable. Building Automation Systems and exposure to an Asset Management System (Archibus preferred) would be advantageous.
You will have strong computer skills (particularly Excel) along with data manipulation and analysis skills. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, be well organised and possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be required to demonstrate a sound understanding of OHS requirements, be a team player and as our events generally take place at weekends, public holidays and evenings you will be included in the roster to work at these times.
