The Business Unit
The Information Services team is one of Arts Centre Melbourne’s 12 core business units.  It collaborates with all other business units including external presenters and customers to deliver the Corporate Services goal of developing a creative, capable, responsible and sustainable organisation.

The Information Services team consists of three distinct areas; Plan, Build and Run.  The Plan team provides service level, project and account management services to the organisation.  The Build area is responsible for providing cost effective and robust solutions, while the Run team delivers service support and operational duties within a 24x7 environment.

Current Position Opportunity
The Application Support is responsible for supporting end users of Arts Centre Melbourne so they can use business systems efficiently and effectively within a secure environment.  This includes troubleshooting applications and software for all customers as well as providing systems administration activities such as user administration and training.

This position is accountable for but not limited to:
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for business systems
• Systems administration
• Training on business systems to end users
• Testing system upgrades and modifications
• Monitoring systems issues and incidents
• Any project (build) work required as part of the Demand/Supply model

Applicant Requirements
To be successful in attaining this position you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field with proven capability in developing, analysing and continually improving systems-based business processes. You will have excellent analytical skills and be a decisive problem solver with an In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications. You will possess proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques and be able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
